Under the supervision of the Design Coordinator, the Machine Safety Specialist is responsible for implementing and monitoring equipment safety processes. Our machine safety experts are involved in every stage—from the risk assessment (RA) to the proof of concept, including the implementation of risk reduction measures (RRM)—for all types of equipment and across various industries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site assessments of equipment safety at client facilities
  • Prepare detailed risk assessment matrices
  • Perform safety distance calculations according to applicable standards
  • Evaluate the required safety category and performance level for equipment safeguarding
  • Write comprehensive risk analysis reports
  • Develop and propose risk reduction solutions
  • Present findings and reports to clients
  • Provide support to team members across different departments
  • Participate in the design and development of project safety circuits

Starting date

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of CSA Z432 (Safeguarding of Machinery) standard
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field

 

Assets:

  • Certified CMSE – Certified Machinery Safety Expert
  • Knowledge of the Sistema software
  • Bilingualism (French and English)

Compensation:

Between 50.00$ per hour

 

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Additional Compensation:

  • Overtime pay
